Karsten Besserdich

Karsten Besserdich has a diverse work experience starting with their current role as Head of DevOps at Mercedes-Benz Automotive Mobility GmbH since October 2023. Prior to this, they served as CTO at the same company from September 2018 to October 2023. Before joining Mercedes-Benz, Karsten Besserdich co-founded and served as Geschäftsführer and Senior IT-Consultant and Architect at Besserdich & Redmann GmbH from October 2014 to August 2018. Karsten also established and held the same positions at Besserdich IT Consulting from January 2007 to December 2014. Prior to that, they worked as an IT Consultant at Trivadis AG from April 2006 to December 2006, and as a Professional System Engineer at T-Systems from August 2001 to March 2006.

Karsten Besserdich completed their education at Berufliche Schule Mecklenburg Strelitz from 1998 to 2001, obtaining a degree in Fachinformatiker Fachrichtung Systemintegration. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including Certified LeSS Practitioner, Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional - OCP, Oracle Database 10g Administrator Certified Associate - OCA, and Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate - OCA.
