Christian Fachat has extensive experience in digital communications and marketing, currently serving as the Head of Digital Platforms for Communications and Marketing at Mercedes-Benz AG since October 2007. Prior roles at Mercedes-Benz AG included Head of Digital Platforms for Communications, Head of Online Communications, and Head of Web Communications. Before this, Christian Fachat worked at DaimlerChrysler AG from May 2000 to September 2007 in various managerial positions, including Senior Manager of Web Communications and Employee Portal. Christian Fachat began a career in academia as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Bonn from October 1996 to April 2000, while also earning a PhD in Economics from the same institution. Academic credentials include a Diplom in Economics from the University of Bonn and experience at Ecole normale supérieure.
