Stefan Hartweg

Stefan Hartweg is an accomplished professional currently serving as Teamleiter IT Entwicklung PDM Backbone at Mercedes-Benz AG since February 2014. Hartweg has extensive experience in IT system development, including the Mercedes-Benz PDM Backbone-System and cloud migration of legacy applications. Additional roles at Mercedes-Benz include leadership positions in CAE, CAD, and master data management, as well as project management in PDM future technologies, focusing on complexity management and automation. Previous experience includes work as a scientific employee at the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V., where Hartweg contributed to improving the positioning accuracy of industrial robots. Hartweg holds a Diplom-Ingenieur in Computational Engineering Science from RWTH Aachen University and participated in an Erasmus exchange program in Vehicle Engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
