Ashley Paxton

Ashley Paxton is a Senior CAD Process Engineer at Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, starting in June 2015, with a focus on enhancing CAD processes and methodologies. Previously, Ashley served as a CATIA Consultant for Renault/Lotus F1 Team from October 2007 to May 2015, where support and training were provided to the design office, aerodynamics, and CFD departments, specializing in mechanical and surface methodologies. Earlier experience includes a role as a Mechanical Designer during a graduate work placement at Optare PLC from September 2005 to August 2006, concentrating on the production of sheet metal components. Ashley earned a Bachelor's Degree in Automotive Technology from Sheffield Hallam University in 2007.
