Dan Milner is the Chief Engineer for Research and Development at Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, overseeing multiple engineering groups focused on testing and development. Milner has significant experience in powertrain integration, leading teams in gearbox, hydraulics, fuel, cooling, and exhaust system design to enhance performance and reliability. Previously, Milner served as Lead Powertrain Engineer and Powertrain Design Engineer, where responsibilities included managing heat rejection systems and advancing cooling system technologies. Additionally, Milner contributed to INEOS Britannia as Head of Design Group, establishing design standards and processes. Earlier roles include positions at AWE, Brawn GP, and Honda Racing F1. Milner holds an MEng in Automotive Engineering from Loughborough University.
