Nick Colam

Nick Colam is an experienced aerodynamics expert currently serving as the Aerodynamics Group Leader and Senior Aerodynamicist at Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team since November 2017. In addition, Nick has been the Director at NFC Performance Ltd since June 2017. Previous roles include Aerodynamic Designer at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd, Principal Aerodynamicist and Aerodynamics Section Leader at Manor Racing, and Senior Aerodynamicist - Correlation at Williams Martini Racing. Nick has also held positions at Marussia F1 Team, where contributions included being an Aerodynamicist and Trackside Aerodynamics Engineer, as well as roles at Wirth Research as an Aerodynamicist and CFD Engineer. Nick Colam holds a B.A. M.Eng in Aerospace & Aerothermal Engineering from the University of Cambridge, earned between 2005 and 2009.
