Simon C. has extensive experience in the automotive and motorsport industries, currently serving as the Head of Quality at Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team since January 2015. Prior roles in the company include Quality Manager, Supplier Quality Team Leader, and Quality Engineer. Before joining Mercedes, Simon worked as a Launch Quality Specialist at BMW (UK) Manufacturing Ltd. and held positions at McLaren Automotive Ltd. as an Operations Engineer and Quality Engineer. Simon's career began at Subaru Europe as a Senior Development Engineer and included work as a Military Mechanic at Defense Support Services and as an Automotive Technician at Orlando Engineering. Simon earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Automotive Engineering from the University of Birmingham between 2000 and 2004.
