Liana Montague has extensive experience in mental health services, currently serving as a Youth and Family Therapist and Elementary School Counselor with the City of Mercer Island since September 2014. Previously, Liana worked as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Friends of Youth from August 2007 to February 2020, providing psychotherapy and chemical dependency counseling. Liana's earlier roles include Individual and Family Therapist Intern at Mercer Island Youth and Family Services and Therapist Intern/Case Manager at Renton Area Youth Services. Liana's background also includes experience as a Family Planning Specialist with Planned Parenthood and as a Legal Assistant in a family law firm. Liana holds a BA in Anthropology/Art History from Wellesley College, a Certificate of Achievement in Chemical Dependency from Bellevue College, and a Master of Arts in Child, Couple and Family Therapy from Antioch University Seattle.
