David Davis

David Davis is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in English and Southern Studies. Currently serving as the Director of Honors and Fellowships and Professor of English and Southern Studies at Mercer University since August 2008, David previously held the position of Visiting Assistant Professor at Wake Forest University from August 2006 to August 2008. David earned a Doctor of Philosophy in English Language and Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where studies were completed between 1999 and 2006. Additionally, an education background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Emory University and an Associate of Arts from Oxford College of Emory University.
