Shane Milam

Shane Milam serves as the Executive Director of Technology Infrastructure Services at Mercer University, a position held since July 1997. Responsibilities include overseeing the development, advancement, and integration of the University’s Information Technology resources to meet academic and administrative objectives, encompassing systems, servers, business software, security, networks, and telephony across all locations and schools. Prior to this role, Shane was a Partner at Specialized Information Environments, Inc. from 1997 to 2007, where responsibilities included cofounding a technology services group focused on software development, infrastructure design, deployment, support, and computer forensics consultation. Shane earned a Master’s degree in Software Systems from Mercer University School of Engineering between 2012 and 2014, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Mercer University from 1990 to 1996.
