Henry Ching is currently the Head of Private Markets - Asia at Mercer, where they identify and evaluate investment opportunities in private equity, real estate, and private debt for clients. Previously, from 2011 to 2022, Ching served as the Head of Asia Real Estate at Mercer, developing key industry relationships and expanding client programs. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Associate at CPP Investment Board from 2003 to 2007, leading research that transformed the investment portfolio from passive to multi-asset. Ching also established Towers Watson's local presence in private markets during their tenure as Manager Research from 2007 to 2011. They hold a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA in Finance and Investment Management from Ivey Business School at Western University.
