James Gannon is a defined benefit pension plan investment strategist with extensive experience in actuarial consulting and investment strategy. They began their career as an actuarial analyst at Kwasha Lipton from 1996 to 2000, followed by a role as an actuarial consultant at Towers Perrin from 2000 to 2006. Gannon served as the head of client strategy and research for the Americas at Russell Investments from 2007 to 2017 and has held the position of senior investment actuary at Vanguard from 2018 to 2024. Currently, Gannon is a principal and senior investment strategist for pensions at Mercer, continuing to leverage their expertise in the field.
