John Martin

John Martin is a Principal in the Risk Transfer group at Mercer, where since March 2013, John has focused on member options projects and contributed to the development of Mercer’s GMP Equalisation proposition. Prior to this role, John worked as a Senior Manager at KPMG from July 2007 to February 2013, advising companies on managing the costs and risks associated with defined benefit pension schemes. John's career began as an actuarial trainee at Towers Watson from September 2003 to July 2007, where John advised trustees on defined benefit pension schemes and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries. John holds a Master of Science degree in Physical and Biological Anthropology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Sciences, both from Durham University.
