Matt Simms

Matt Simms is a partner in Mercer's Delegated Solutions Team, where they help asset owners achieve better investment outcomes. They began their career as a pension actuary, which provided a solid foundation for understanding liabilities before transitioning to the assets side of the balance sheet. Previously, Matt has held various leadership roles, including Trustee Director and Chair of multiple investment committees. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at The University of Sheffield while also being the UK Head of Clients in Investment Solutions at Mercer. In their free time, Matt enjoys lifting weights, exploring unique experiences in London, and engaging with books, podcasts, and Netflix series.
