Alex Y.

Alex Y. has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2005 as an Intern for NCC and Santa Barbara Staffing, performing clerical work and cold calling. In 2007, they took on an internship as a Public Works GIS Intern for the County of Santa Barbara. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as a GIS Technician for Michael Brandman Associates, followed by a role as Director of Operations for KAP7 International from 2009 to 2012. From 2012 to 2017, Alex Y. was the East Coast Territory Manager for Fitzgerald Formliners, and from 2013 to 2018, they were the General Manager for KAP7 International, Inc. In 2017, they Co-Founded RYTE Sport, an industry disrupting performance swimwear brand, and in 2021, they became the Chief Revenue Officer for Merchadise. Most recently, they have been the Managing Member of MerchFarm since 2018, providing on-demand and short run domestic apparel manufacturing, e-commerce integrated services.

Alex Y. attended UC Santa Barbara from 2003 to 2007, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Geography.
