Daniel Moritz

Daniel Moritz is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in founding and managing financial institutions. As a Co-Founder of Merchant Capital South Africa since November 2012, Daniel has played a pivotal role in the company's growth and operations. Prior to this, Daniel served as Co-Founder and CFO at Merchant Capital, where contributions spanned from November 2012 to March 2023. Daniel's experience also includes a position as Financial Manager at SA Taxi Finance from July 2011 to November 2012 and at Mortgage Capital from March 2009 to June 2011. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance (BACC) degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, completed in 2005, and attended King David from 1990 to 2001.
