Owen M.

Owen M. is the Owner and Founder of GopherData, Inc., a position held since June 1993. Owen served as a School Board Member for Edina Public Schools from January 2018 to December 2021 and was an Instructor at the University of Minnesota from 2003 to 2019. A Competent Leader with Toastmasters International from 2002 until February 2018, Owen co-founded Target's Northern Campus Toastmasters club. Previous experience includes working as a Developer at Target from December 2010 to August 2014 and as a Computer Instructor at the Science Museum of Minnesota from March 1993 to March 2011, where curriculum development and instruction in various Microsoft technologies were key responsibilities. Early career roles included Associate Chief Ranger at Philmont Scout Ranch and Instructor for the Close Up Foundation, focusing on high school civics education. Owen holds a Master's degree in Human Resources from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Minnesota.
