Neil Thompson

Neil Thompson is an experienced risk management professional, currently serving as Vice President of Risk Management at Merchant Growth since March 2019. Previously, Neil held the position of Director of Risk Management at the same company and served as Director of Operations & Special Projects and Director of the National Broker Channel at Meridian OneCap Credit Corporation from July 2016 to March 2019. Earlier career roles include Broker Manager and Account Manager at Roynat Lease Finance from March 2005 to July 2016, Credit Manager at Irwin Commercial Finance from January 2004 to March 2005, and Bi-lingual Customer Service Coordinator at Onset Capital Corporation from June 2001 to January 2004. Neil holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from The University of British Columbia, completed between 1998 and 2001, and also participated in studies at the International Study Centre at Herstmonceux Castle from 1997 to 1998.
