Steve Cook is a Specialist Biometrics & Digital Identity Consultant at Biometrics for eCommerce, providing independent consultancy services to banks and commercial enterprises since January 2011. With a strong focus on biometric implementation strategies, product selection, and compliance with PSD2 and Strong Customer Authentication, Steve also supports digital onboarding solutions. Additionally, Steve serves as a Biometrics and Digital Identity Advisor on the MPE Advisory Board and as a Biometrics Technical Advisor on the RegTech & Security Advisory Board for FinTech Connect. As the owner of the Biometrics for eCommerce LinkedIn Group, Steve fosters a community of over 25,000 professionals interested in biometric technology. Prior to this, Steve owned Absolute Gaming Solutions, offering consultancy in the gaming and fintech sectors, and served as General Manager at SEGA Europe, overseeing commercial sales and business development across European video game markets. Steve studied at Leeds Beckett University from 1985 to 1987.
