Cheryl Likens

Cheryl Likens joined Merchants Bank in 2021 as the Chief Risk Officer. Cheryl is responsible for leading the Company’s corporate risk function and strategy including assessment of business lines and administrative functions, serving as an advisor to the business units and collaborating with other risk and internal audit functions. Prior to joining Merchants Bank, Cheryl was the Chief Audit Executive at First Merchants Corporation. She has over 25 years of accounting and auditing experience, primarily in the financial institution industry. Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Indiana University and holds a Certified Public Accountant certification.
