Matt O'Rourke

Matt O'Rourke has extensive work experience in the banking and financial industry. Matt currently holds the position of Senior Vice President- Head of Business Development at Merchants Bank of Indiana since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as Vice President- Business Development at the same company from April 2021 to September 2022.

Before joining Merchants Bank of Indiana, Matt worked at Associated Bank from 2015 to 2021. Matt held various roles, including Vice President- Relationship Manager and Assistant Vice President- Relationship Manager, where they managed a portfolio of 22 customers and $1.5B in commitments for ASB's Mortgage Warehouse Lending Group. Matt successfully grew their portfolio by $1B commitments and 10 new customers. Matt also served as Assistant Vice President- Portfolio Manager Mortgage Warehouse Group, responsible for underwriting $550MM in commitments annually for various mortgage banks. Additionally, they worked as a Portfolio Manager- Mortgage Warehouse Commercial Banking.

Earlier in their career, Matt worked as a Business Insights Analyst at RR Donnelley from 2013 to 2015. Matt also gained experience in the real estate industry as a Closing Consultant Intern at RE/MAX in 2012. Matt started their career as a Research Analyst Intern at the Missouri Department of Economic Development in 2011.
