Soma Jain

Soma Jain has work experience in the banking industry, specializing in credit analysis and underwriting. Soma worked as a VP, SBA Sr. Underwriter at Merchants Bank of Indiana from March 2023 to present, where they evaluated and underwrote SBA loan applications and ensured compliance with SBA guidelines. Prior to that, they worked as an AVP SBA Credit Analyst at the same company from December 2019 to March 2023, performing similar tasks. Before joining Merchants Bank of Indiana, Soma worked as a Credit Analyst at First Colorado National Bank from January 2018 to December 2019, where they focused on evaluating and underwriting SBA loan applications. Soma also has experience as a Credit Analyst at Bank One/JP MorganChase from September 1998 to March 2001, where they conducted industry research, analyzed credit histories, and performed risk assessments for commercial lending decisions.

Soma Jain obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Nagpur University between 1990 and 1994. Soma pursued further education and completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance from Nagpur University from 1994 to 1996. Later, between 2014 and 2016, Soma attended the College of DuPage and obtained a Certificate in Fashion Entrepreneurship.
