Andi Black

Andi Black is an experienced Contract Bond Underwriter currently working at Merchants Bonding Company since February 2020, with prior experience at Tokio Marine HCC Surety Group from July 2016 to January 2020. In addition to underwriting, Andi has a background in education, serving as a High School Science Teacher at Victory Prep Academy and a lacrosse coach for both 2nd and 3rd graders at United Lacrosse and Junior Varsity teams at Mt. Lebanon Lacrosse Association. Earlier professional experience includes roles as an Environmental Specialist at Weavertown Environmental and a Laboratory Intern at UNC Wilmington, where proficiency in scientific equipment and environmental assessments was developed. Andi holds a degree in Environmental Science with a minor in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
