Joshua Reed

Mr. Reed oversees the lower tier acquisitions platform of Merchants Capital’s tax credit equity division including sourcing, structuring, and closing lower-tier limited partnership investments in tax-advantaged multifamily housing projects. Prior to joining Merchants Capital in November 2020, Mr. Reed consulted for tax credit developers to assist with real estate acquisition, financial structuring, agreement negotiations, and closing of LIHTC multifamily projects. Prior to that, Mr. Reed spent 11 years at a national tax credit equity syndicator where he was involved in closing, underwriting, and structuring over $700M in lower-tier equity acquisitions and managed the construction department that oversaw underwriting and construction monitoring for projects in 30 states with over $600M in equity investments. Mr. Reed graduated from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a degree in Civil Engineering.
