Julie Sharp

Ms. Sharp leads the tax credit equity platform at Merchants Capital. In addition to managing equity operations, Ms. Sharp is responsible for raising private equity from institutional investors for tax-advantaged equity funds primarily comprised of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) projects. Prior to joining Merchants in March 2020, Ms. Sharp served as Assistant Vice President of Syndications and Investor Relations at a national tax credit equity syndicator where she was involved in structuring, raising capital, and closing more than $1 Billion in equity investments through private placements, multi-investor funds, and secondary activity. Ms. Sharp Graduated from Ball State University’s Miller College of Business with a degree in Accounting and Economics.
