Derise Hedges is a seasoned Senior Database Administrator with extensive experience in managing and optimizing SQL server environments across multiple organizations. Currently serving at Merchants Insurance Group since March 2015, Derise Hedges has established and documented standards, created central management servers, and developed PowerShell scripts while handling various tasks related to database management systems from installation to recovery. Previous roles include senior positions at M&T Bank and Hilbert College, where responsibilities encompassed performance tuning, database design, and mentoring application database administrators. Derise Hedges began a career in data management with Global Concepts and self-employment, culminating in a BA in English and Psychology from Canisius University.
