Prior to this, Atay worked as an MDR Manager at DocuSign, overseeing the company's managed detection and response activities. Atay also held the position of Market Lead - ANZ at Easyship, where they provided cross-border logistics solutions to e-commerce companies. At Easyship, Atay also served as the Head of Enterprise Sales. Earlier in their career, Atay worked as the Director of Sales at N7 Real Estate and as a Senior Business Development Manager at Shopify Plus. Atay also gained valuable experience as an Account Executive at Salesforce and as a Director at GroupPower. Apart from their corporate experience, Atay was involved in the family business, Lady Sultan Turkish Take Away and Sultan’s Bakehouse, achieving significant growth. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Development Manager at IBISWorld Australia and as a Victorian Business Development Manager and Account Manager at IPMO. Atay brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to each of their roles, consistently delivering exceptional results.

Atay Mehmet completed their secondary education at Castlemaine Secondary College from 1995 to 2000. Atay then pursued a Bachelor of Business degree in Marketing at La Trobe University from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, Atay Mehmet obtained two certifications: "Introducing App Development for iOS 14" from LinkedIn in January 2021 and "Executive Leadership" from LinkedIn in September 2020.
