Caroline Simpkin

Caroline joined in 2013 as an Assistant Accountant based in the Preston office and has over 10 years’ experience working in a finance department. In this role, Caroline is responsible for completing accounting tasks for all funds. In particular, she manages sales ledger, purchase ledger and nominal ledger reconciliations for Mercia’s managed funds and completes bank transfers for investments from the Mercia EIS Funds. She is responsible for managing the debt funds which include preparing loan repayment schedules, transferring the funds to investees, collecting direct debits and completing nominal reconciliations for NPIF and EV SME Loans.

Caroline is also a member of the Mercia Knowledge Committee.
