Joanna Bayes

Joanna joined the Group in 2021 as Fund Administrator, working within the VCT Funds. She supports the Investment Team with deal preparation and completion, the maintenance of records, and the development, coordination and production of both external and internal reports. Joanna is based at the Manchester office.

Joanna has a strong background in office support as well as in sales. Her previous experience being in office and account management in the healthcare sector and retail management and a proven sales record gained in over 30 years working in the travel industry. Joanna is a qualified assessor – Level 3 and has gained extensive customer service experience whilst working in the travel industry. Her experience in customer service led to her most recent position prior to joining Mercia, on the management team working in occupational health developing and supporting a team of administrators and managing the diaries of clinicians.
