Andrea Scarpa

Andrea Scarpa is an experienced Technical Services Specialist at Merck Group since April 2019. Prior to this role, Andrea held a position as a Postdoctoral Researcher at COS - Heidelberg University, contributing to the completion of a Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology. Andrea's academic background includes a focus on miRNAs in plant development and involvement in projects related to plant reproduction and epigenetics during a postgraduate research tenure at University College Cork. Additionally, Andrea was an Executive Committee Member at the University of Sevilla, developing the FILE project aimed at enhancing intercultural learning. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. from Heidelberg University, a Master of Education from Universidad de Sevilla, and both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Padova.
