Daniel Kuhn

Daniel Kuhn is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Director and Head of AI and New Technologies at Merck Group since June 2010. Previously held positions at Merck Group include Associate Director and Computational Chemist & Discovery Project Leader. In addition to industry roles, Daniel Kuhn has been a Lecturer in Computer-aided Drug Design at Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen since October 2012. Prior experience includes serving as a Distinguished Scientist at Boehringer Ingelheim Austria from October 2004 to May 2010 and an internship in the Chemoinformatics Group at Merck KGaA in 1999. Daniel Kuhn obtained a PhD in Computational Chemistry from The Philipp University of Marburg, where studies were completed between 2000 and 2004, following an earlier degree from the same institution from 1995 to 2000.
