Dr. Christian Schallermair has extensive experience in government affairs and policy within the healthcare sector, currently serving as Associate Director Government Affairs & Policy at Merck Gruppe since October 2002, where previous roles included Head of Government Affairs and Senior Manager Healthcare Recht & Politik. Prior to this, Dr. Schallermair worked at Debeka from April 2000 to September 2002 as Vorstandsreferent Gesundheitspolitik & -management and Gruppenleiter im Leistungsmanagement. Academic contributions were made at Universität der Bundeswehr München from October 1995 to March 2000 as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in the Institute for Economics, specializing in Social and Health Economics.
