Francesco Chiattelli

Francesco Chiattelli currently serves as the Head of Legal, Compliance Officers, and Privacy Officers for Merck Italia, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this role, Francesco was a Senior Lawyer at the Healthcare Business of Merck from November 2017 to August 2023, providing legal support to the Italian affiliate and serving as a legal business partner for the Greek and Turkish affiliates, with a focus on competition law matters. Francesco also held the position of Associate Legal Director at MSD Italia from July 2011 to September 2017 and began a career in law as a trainee at Hogan Lovells from February 2008 to June 2011. Francesco holds a Master's degree in Competition Law from Luiss Guido Carli University, completed in April 2016, and an undergraduate degree (Laurea) from the same institution.
