Marta Helena Lesko is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as Vice President and Head of Neurology and Immunology Business Development at Merck Group since July 2015. Marta has held various leadership positions within the company, including Executive Director for Technologies & Externalizations Business Development and Director of Global Oncology Licensing & Business Development. In addition to a robust corporate career, Marta is the founder of London Bio-Industry Ladies, fostering networking opportunities for women in the bio-industry. Marta's academic background includes a PhD in Genetics from the University of Cambridge and postdoctoral research in immunotherapy and cancer biology at prestigious institutions such as UCL and King's College London.
