Martin Teo

Martin Teo serves as the Head of Project and Engineering for the APAC region at Merck Group since September 2016, leading strategic initiatives that translate business strategies into actionable plans, overseeing capital expenditure planning, supporting capacity management, and leading the regional Engineering and Technology team. Previously, Martin held the position of Project Director at AstraZeneca, where successful delivery of the Taizhou Phase 1 pharmaceutical manufacturing project was achieved with a total investment of $227 million. Martin's extensive experience in construction and project management spans various roles in Malaysia and China from January 2000 to February 2011, focusing on residential, commercial, and hospital projects. Academically, Martin holds an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School and a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Technology Malaysia.
