Mateusz Szymczak

Mateusz Szymczak has extensive experience in accounting and finance, currently serving as a Senior Accounting Business Partner with Merck Group since August 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing GL team coordination and providing expert GL accounting support. Prior experience at EY from May 2013 to August 2019 involves roles as a General Ledger Senior Associate, Senior Accountant for Accounts Receivable, and Accountant in Billing, with key tasks such as preparing financial statements, month-end closing activities, and enhancing accounting processes. Earlier, Mateusz worked as an Accountant at SOSZW, handling payroll and tax obligations, and as a Medical Representative at Stada Hemofarm Poland. Education includes being a member of ACCA since 2018 and holding a Master’s degree in Quality Management and Engineering from Wroclaw University of Economics and Business.
