Peng Yang

Peng (Peter) Yang is a seasoned strategy and planning professional with extensive experience in management consulting across various sectors, including healthcare, life science, and electronics. Currently serving as the Strategy & Planning Lead for the Healthcare Oncology Business Unit at Merck Group since June 2021, Peng has previously held positions such as Sr. Manager and Manager in Inhouse Consulting. Prior to Merck, experience includes a Consultant role at Accenture focusing on digital transformation, as well as project management for Industry 4.0 initiatives at Bosch. Early career highlights feature roles in project management at Siemens, where contributions were made to power transmission projects in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, alongside internships at Bloomberg LP and WPP. Peng holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Bioscience from Waseda University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University.
