Rakesh Gupta

Rakesh Gupta currently serves as the Head of Innovation & Data and Bangalore Hub leader at Merck Group, a position held since October 2023. Previously, Rakesh Gupta was with Novartis from May 2017 to July 2023, where the role of Global Head Cognitive and HyperAutomation involved leading the HyperAutomation strategy and successfully launching AI/ML-powered automation products. Rakesh Gupta also managed Robotics and Cognitive Automation delivery and operations, promoting RPA adoption across various domains, and directed the Enterprise Content Management Global Operations for Novartis IT. Early career experience includes serving as Project Leader at Tata Consultancy Services, focusing on workflow-based knowledge management systems, and Technical Lead at Datamatics Technologies Ltd, where Rakesh Gupta automated customer data management processes for a Japanese bank.
