Stefan Mittelmaier

Stefan Mittelmaier is an accomplished professional in the field of quality control and digital transformation within the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Director and Head of Digital Transformation Global QC at Merck Gruppe since October 2015. This role involves leading initiatives to enhance efficiency and compliance in global QC labs through digitalization. Previously, Stefan held positions as Associate Director overseeing QC technology and as QC Manager, focusing on analytical method development, validation, and process validation. Prior experience includes leading a development lab at Sandoz and undergoing vocational training in food regulatory affairs at Bayerisches Landesamt für Gesundheit und Lebensmittelsicherheit.
