Yasir Yousuf Shaikh

Yasir Yousuf Shaikh is an experienced finance professional with a career spanning over 19 years. Currently serving as the Global Head of Controlling at Merck Group since April 2014, Yasir has held various leadership roles including Senior Director Controlling for the Middle East, Africa, Russia, and CIS, as well as Regional Head of Controlling for Asia Pacific Emerging Markets. Prior to Merck Group, Yasir worked at Hutchison Ports KICT as Head of Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Forecasting, and began a career at PwC as an External Auditor. Yasir holds an MBA in Finance from Cyprus Business School and is credentialed with ICAEW, the Institute of Public Accountants, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.
