Yi Li

Yi Li currently serves as the Interim Head of External Innovation for APAC at 默克雪兰诺 since 2022, while also holding the position of Director of Innovation Incubation and Investment at Merck Group since February 2018, where notable achievements include leading a team that successfully transitioned three incubation projects into start-ups in AI healthcare and Organoid sectors. Prior experience includes the role of Interim Co-lead of the Merck China Innovation Hub and Associate Director for Strategy & Business Development at Pfizer from September 2015 to February 2018. Previously, Yi Li was Senior Manager of Business Development at Johnson & Johnson from June 2011 to September 2015. Educational background encompasses an MBA in Strategy/Finance/Accounting from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and dual Master's degrees in Statistics and Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago. Additionally, undergraduate studies were completed at Fudan University in Applied Chemistry.
