Andi Cupallari

Andi Cupallari, PhD, is currently the Director of Forecasting Capabilities at Merck and an Adjunct Professor of Data Science at Columbia University. They completed a PhD in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York in March 2020, where they developed machine learning and deep learning methods for forecasting stock returns and exchange rates. Prior to their current role, Andi held various positions at Novartis, including Associate Director of Global Oncology Business Analytics and Manager of Machine Learning and NLP. They have also served as a Data Science Fellow and taught at Brooklyn College, enhancing their expertise in predictive modeling and natural language processing.
