Andrew Tom

Andrew Tom is currently pursuing a Post-bacc Pre-Med degree at Columbia University and a BS at New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business. Previously, they held various roles, including Analyst and Project Manager at McKinsey & Company from 2000 to 2004, and a Research Assistant in Cardiothoracic Surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center from 2006 to 2007. Andrew also interned as a Summer Intern in Equity Research at Canaccord Genuity Inc. in 2009 and served as a Fellow in Portfolio Management at Columbia Technology Ventures from 2008 to 2009. Their extensive experience at Merck included positions such as Associate Director in Human Health Finance and Pension Investments, along with roles focused on Financial Evaluation and Analysis, from 2010 to 2020. Andrew began their career with an Analyst position at Credit Suisse from 2007 to 2008.
