Ardelle Persad Carpenter

Ardelle Persad Carpenter is an experienced professional in bioprocess engineering and vaccine process development, currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Merck since August 2020. Previously, Ardelle held the position of Scientist in process development and technology transfer at WuXi Advanced Therapies and WuXi AppTec, focusing on the manufacturing processes for Cell and Gene-Mediated Therapies. Ardelle began the career as an Associate Scientist at WuXi AppTec and contributed to the development and optimization of clinical manufacturing processes. Earlier experience includes a role at Sanofi Pasteur, offering technical support and project management within the Bulk Antigen Department. Ardelle holds a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, both from Lehigh University.
