Brian Vega

Brian Vega, Ph.D., is currently a Principal Scientist in Immunotoxicology at Merck, bringing over 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D with a focus on nonclinical drug safety and investigative toxicology. They have over 10 years of research experience in designing and executing in vitro and ex vivo cell-based assays, as well as in vivo model development to support mechanistic studies. Previously, Brian served as a Senior Scientist at Merck and held roles as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and a Nonclinical Development Consultant at Actinobac Biomed, Inc. Brian earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Notre Dame and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Rutgers University, contributing significantly to the field with multiple publications and collaborative projects.
