Christen Simel is currently the Associate Director of Global Commercial Pipeline Analytics in the CVMD division at Merck. Previously, Christen served in the US Navy from 2009 to 2012 as an Engineering Division Officer aboard the USS Boxer and as a Fire Control Officer on the USS Lake Champlain, where they managed and mentored teams of technicians. Christen has also worked at ZS from 2020 to 2024 as a Strategy Insights & Planning Manager and Consultant, as well as a Strategy and Operations Lead in Health Plan and Provider. Christen holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA in International/Global Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
