Daren Liu

Daren Liu is an experienced professional in the field of analytics and commercial insights, currently serving as Associate Director of Global Commercial Pipeline Analytics at Merck since November 2025. Prior to this role, Daren held positions at Sarepta Therapeutics from January 2023 to July 2025, where Daren was Senior Manager for both Commercial Insights & Analytics and Commercial Analytics - Diagnostics. Daren's earlier experience includes a Data Scientist role at Regeneron from July 2018 to September 2022, focusing on the Regeneron Genetics Center, and work in genetic epidemiology and statistical genetics at Columbia Department of Neurological Surgery from December 2016 to April 2019. Daren also contributed to the UC Santa Cruz Genomics Institute as a Bioinformatician and served as a Research Assistant at UCSF Health. Daren holds a Master's degree in Epidemiology and Applied Biostatistics from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and a Bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
