James Allen has an extensive background in digital manufacturing and automation, having worked at Merck since December 1990, where current responsibilities include serving as Director of Digital Manufacturing Capital Delivery and previously as Associate Director of Manufacturing Automation. In these roles, James has led projects focused on the automation of vaccines and biologics capital manufacturing systems, overseeing all aspects from concept to qualification. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Analyst in Automation & Information Technology and Project Engineer in Site Technical Operations. Earlier in his career, James worked at Eastman Kodak as a Process Control Engineer. James holds an MBA in Supply Chain Management from Lehigh University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
