Jill Chrencik

Jill Chrencik is a distinguished scientific expert with extensive experience in structural biology, particularly in the field of protein crystallography. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Scientist and Senior Scientific Director at Merck since December 2017, Jill previously held senior roles at Pfizer and Receptos, Inc., where significant contributions included the design and analysis of G-protein coupled receptor structures and optimization of purification techniques. Jill's earlier career highlights include pivotal work at The Scripps Research Institute, focusing on protein-protein interactions and drug design, along with foundational research during a PhD at the University of North Carolina, concentrating on human proteins related to tumorigenesis. Jill holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Syracuse University.
