John Thomas McCubbins

John Thomas McCubbins is a distinguished leader in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Global Science, Engineering, and Commercialization at Merck since April 2017, in addition to holding the position of Senior Vice President of Global Pharmaceutical Operations. McCubbins has accumulated extensive experience at Merck from 2000 to 2017, having held several senior vice president roles in Global Animal Health Manufacturing, Global Biologics Manufacturing, and Global Vaccines and Sterile Manufacturing, as well as serving as Vice President and Plant Manager of West Point Operations and Plant Manager. McCubbins holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from Duke University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Catawba College.
